They were my salvation for all the looks involving eyeliner. How I Did It: First off, I have to say that this look wouldn't have been possible without the Too Cool for School Dinoplatz Magic Wands. Once again, proving how little I do eye makeup. On the way home from work, my boyfriend asked who did my makeup. All the neutrals were subtle but worked well together. My Experience: I ended up really liking this look for day-to-day. You want to use the shadow to enhance your eye shape, not to bury it. I love using shadow on the lower lash line for an all around softer finish, but if you don't sharpen and clean it up, you could end up with raccoon eyes. This was a trick I learned backstage at NYFW. I then smoothed out the lower lash's shadow with a skinny angle brush. Next I filled in my lids with the medium-dark shade Factory. Then, I took the blending brush and went in circular motions over the entire lid to get a soft finish.įinally, I swiped Darkside into the creases from inner out, and then took it down underneath my bottom lash line. This created an even base for the rest of the colors to build on. How I Did It: With a medium blending brush (yes, I graduated to tools), I applied a matte pink Urban Decay shadow called Strange from my lids up to underneath the brows. ![]()
